Established in 1984 by Dermot Grant, as a sole practitioner based in an office in Rathgar, providing audit and accounting services, the firm has evolved into what is now known as Blackthorn Capital. In the earlier years we were known as Dermot F Grant and Company, when Ann-Marie Reddy joined the firm. As the firm grew and the service offering expanded into other areas the firm rebranded and Grant Reddy was established, based in our new office in Percy Place. Roslyn Fitzgerald had joined us at this stage and was pivotal in the firms development. In 2000 Dermot and Ann-Marie established Origin Corporate Finance, a business specialising in corporate finance consultancy. In the twenty years since, we have become specialists in this area and have a strong reputation in this field.
In 2016 we rebranded as Blackthorn Capital. Dermot stepped down as senior partner and moved to a consultancy role. In 2022 we moved to our new corporate offices in Calmount Business Park.
Ann-Marie and Roslyn continue to drive the business forward and further develop Blackthorn Capital into a leading provider of audit, tax and corporate finance services.
